I would like to take a moment and welcome you all to the new version of Darkness Embraced. We are very excited about the new site and hope that you will be as well. If you were a member from the old site, you will have to sign up for a new account.
I understand that some of you may feel quite frustrated that so much of your input has been lost, and for that, I do sincerely apologize. I tried everything I could to merge the two systems, but failed at various attempts. My only option was to begin from scratch. It was inevitable and I knew that I would have to do it eventually. The CMS that I was using has pretty much fallen to the wayside with any further development. Their answer to everything was to upgrade to their newest version. However, if I had done that, approving members would not be an option available to us. Many of the features we used daily would have also not been compliant with their new version. Basically we would have been stuck with word press capability and that would have been it. No gallery, no fiction writings, no birthdays, books, or any of the other things that made DE fun.

 There is an energy to every moment and an energy for every action it’s been said. When the sign of the times tend to be rather epidemic with an energy of upset and unrest however, this is another matter entirely.
There is a natural state of being that more often than not swerves to adopt a state of enthalpy or a state of order over a state of entropy or a state of disorder to ones existence. This is an almost instinctive aspect to life, and for good reason. It indicates where one stands in a personal way not only in regards to other people but also in regards to ones own inner life.

Okay, most have a bottom line limit to their imaginations and in the limits of life, there are many flexible boundaries. None however that can truly exhibit those boundaries that surround each living and in fact, everything in all of existence. Suffice it to say that for the sake of this rather flexible discussion, I’ll be in reference to the aura’s or the energy states that we all exhibit in all of our waking and some, not-so-waking moments of our days and our collective nights.

 The full moon seems to be a chaotic time for the world. I enjoy hearing accounts of the full moon chaos from nurses, prison guards, receptionists, and other occupations that require a lot of social interaction. The full moon is regarded as the time that the “loonies” come out. It is also the time that my cravings are the strongest, within three days of the full moon. Upon talking with other vampires, I was not at all surprised to find that they shared my experiences.

 Every so often there comes along a philosophy that just happens to turn the page of thought in one way or another. Be this in some philosophical sense, or perhaps in a practical one regarding the formula of life, or in some religious or political tone that moves groups of people to begin to think in varying ways than perhaps they did just a day or so before. Everyone’s heard of history’s examples of such types. Sometimes these philosophical qualities have drastic impacts on their direct and even indirect influences while in time carrying their own undue advantage over those who weren’t ever listening to begin with.
