The rule of three is an unwritten rule but one that nonetheless exists in many facets of our world. References can be found throughout history, art, literature, language, math, entertainment, the list goes on. Groupings of three can literally be found anywhere if one knows what to look for.

Examples of this are as follows:

Veni, vidi, vici (I came, I saw, I conquered)

The Nina, The Pinta and The Santa Maria

Land, sea and air

Lights, Camera, Action

The Three Blind Mice

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

Three Strikes and you're out!

Wine, Women and Song

One Bourbon, One Scotch, One Beer (sorry couldn't resist adding that one lol)

Newton's Three Laws of Motion

The Father, The Son and The Holy Ghost

Without cheating and looking anything up online, my challenge to you is to come up with some other examples of the rule of three. Be obscure, be creative and see what you can come up with.  Smiley
