Greetings!   My son is scheduled to have surgery today to correct his deviated septum and have his sinuses scraped.  It's not a life or death thing, no but since he has other problems I am always a little concerned when they put him under.  We will be at the hospital for a day or two and then I will be back to you good people.

Hey all!  Nick got through the surgery alright.  Deviated septum repaired, sinuses scraped, and they opened up the nasal passages a bit more for future improved breathing!!  They also did a broncoscopy while he was out cold and found some of his lung tissue is inflamed so that means an extended stay in the hospital for what we call a tune up...basically a few days of I.v. meds to settle things in the lungs.  All good things.  Soon he will be out riding his skateboard, begging me for more piercings, and basically being a pain in the arse teenager!!  I can't wait!   Cheesy

Glad to hear everything went well. I hope he soon recovers from his lung-problems as well.
