The art of allowing.

The art of letting the people and creatures and world around me be who and what they are.
The ability to realize that as much as you may need something to be one way, it may not be that way for a reason, possibly a good reason for someone else.
The ability to realize you can't always have things the way you need them, or to put it bluntly, not getting things your way.... (stomp your foot, it feels better to let it out...)

Let nature and time and the world take its course and by allowing the world to be what it is, we can hopefully have a positive effect on the energies and people we come into contact with.

Live for the moment that you're in.
Take a cue from the small creatures around us. What happened yesterday, happened yesterday. That moment in time is gone, and as much as we may "regret" or "disagree with" or perhaps "enjoy" a certain feeling or sensation at that moment.... in reality, it's gone. So live for the moment you're in right now.

And as for tomorrow, that's then. We can only do so much toward shaping what that will bring, so just deal with it as it flows toward you.
I remember a dear friend putting it so eloquently for me, (very zen for the person that I'm thinking of actually.... ahem), the phrase was be like water.
And that about sums it up.

Be formless, yet take the form of the moment you are in.

We can only do so much about our surroundings, so instead of fighting and possibly making a situation worse, form to it, become part of it and influence it from the inside....
Now, I'm not saying one shouldn't stand up for ones' rights, I'm just saying when a situation is getting tense, don't make it worse. Work with that negative energy and "reform" it to a positive (yes, it may take some work but it will happen). Energy is ever-moving, ever-changing, it never stays constant, and neither does the human mind. It too is ever-moving, ever-changing.

Or so one would hope.

And most of all, allow yourself to be you. Who you are.
Make your decisions based on what you feel, not what others tell you.
Don't look out for answers, look within.
That is where your connection is, not within a computer monitor, a book, or a collection of books.
The answers are within you.
Take in as much information as you can, filter out what doesn't work for you and from the remainder, create a world and a life for yourself that benefits you and those you interact with and have an effect on.

Take care of yourselves, and each other.

be well, brightest of blessings

Thanks for the words
The most thing I liked in your words is "formless"
At that moment , I remembered the Lizard .. Am trying to be as much as this creature is doing
Actually am learning as much as I can from the creatures surrounding me but not from the People :D
upon your words , Actually that what am doing till I reach my targets and shoot them

Thank you Heyoka for re-posting this post. I needed to read this today.

Yes, to be formless, live for the moment and not in yesterday or tomorrow, is a lesson I am now working with. So far I have taken baby steps, but I am learning how to let go of the past and live in the moment. And while living in the moment I hope to create a better future for myself and others.

Thank you once again and many blessings,
BriarRose

Thank you for sharing this post. This is something even I feel I must work on regularly, and for some reason the post helps with something I know I must rationally do, but have yet to succeed in fullness in doing. Am I making any sense?

Sincerely,

The words you have put forth carry a nicely positive vibration to them. It would be well for people to read into them. It is one thing to read the words, but allowing them to breathe into you does so much more.

Much of what you say is really important for energy healers (actually, any healers really). My ability to heal through external qi healing is so much more effective when there is an effort to allow my energy and Essence into the client. Be in the moment, feel, breathe, live.

Wise, intelligent words indeed.
Though a simple rule to follow, not everyone can follow it.
But there's going to be a time when it gets too heated for us and we just have to evaporate, 'till we condense again.
However, I agree. Being formless means being neutral. We can make some things better, but we can't always make things better, some things are better left untouched.
