Crochet marathon

New postby Fionnualla » Sat Nov 07, 2009 10:25 am

Just thought I'd post a little note explaining why I won't be posting much over the next month or so. I have a deadline on a baby blanket I'm crocheting for a neighbor and time's a-wasting! I'll sneak in occasionally to make sure you all are behaving yourselves, but mostly I'll be crocheting my fingers to the bone. How do I get myself into this kind of thing anyway?!

See you soon (after my fingers heal) :)

Good luck Fionnualla. I hope you get it done soon. Keep in touch cause we are all going to miss you while you are gone. Maybe you can show us all a picture of it when you are finished.

Many Blessings,
BriarRose

I went on a crochet marathon years ago..although it was done to get through a difficult time in my life..a sort of forced meditation. Focusing on those loops does wonders to put a mind at peace.

Good luck on getting the blanket done, Fionnualla. :)

I agree, Sybilla, it is calming. I can tune out the TV, the noise, and my husband, not necessarily in that order. Here's the work in progress.
